Packing complete, we have finally hit the road. The first leg of our trip is over the Nullarbor and to Ceduna in SA.
An early start saw us arriving in Balladonia by 9.30 and over the border by late afternoon. No one was quite sure what the time was with the change in time zones but the important thing was that we arrived in time to set up camp and find a spot at the bar to watch the footy.
Had a great night with other travellers getting the Eagles over line!
The next day we fought the urge to go to Melbourne instead of Alice Springs and headed off on our merry way for Ceduna.
It’s such a beautiful trip along the Nullabor. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it, although the kids might disagree! We stopped at a few lookouts along the way to see the Great Australian Bight.
We arrived in Ceduna early afternoon and made the most of our location on the beach, cooking fresh Ceduna oysters and enjoying a couple of quieties.
Today we are off along the Googs Track for two nights, and then on to Cooper Pedy. Should be lots of fun!
Seeya!
Great, keep it up and have lots of fun
