When you spend one of your first dates catching yabbies at a dam and your honeymoon camping along the coast of Western Australia you know camping and travelling are going to be a big part of your life! And so it is that seventeen years on from our honeymoon we are still camping and travelling whenever we get the chance.

We are now a family of four.  A two man tent and 4wd drive was our camp set up until our youngest daughter was about 6 months old.  It was around the time she was born we started seriously thinking about doing a lap of Australia one day when our kids reached an age that would allow us all to enjoy it.  We bought ourselves a camper trailer and began planning.  In 2016 our dream came to fruition and we set off on our big lap of OZ for 9 months.  Our kids were aged 6 and 10 when we left.

Since returning home we have continued to travel whenever we can.

This blog is for family and friends to see what we get up to on our travels.  It is also a way for us to record our adventures.  We hope you enjoy reading it!
